Melissa & Mark 10.28.12

I thought Melissa was going to blow away today. Slight exaggeration but not far from the truth. I heard that the winds were whipping up to a glorious 50kms/hr today. Sometimes it's nice to have that feathered hair look from a medium-size fan, but at times it was more like a mini cyclone. haha. Poor Melissa, but what a trooper she was! Even Mark and Ry took the crazy weather like a couple of champs! Kudos to all 3 of you!  Here are some of the shots I liked best:

The Bendig's 10.28.12

The wind was out with a vengeance today but still, it didn't keep the Bendig's from having a successful shoot!  The leaves on the trees were scarce and few but the scenery of Ojibway was still as perfect as it is in any season.  Here are some of my favourite shots from the day.  :)  (Make sure to click on the photos for a clearer view).

Daniela 10.22.12

monday was truly an eventful and great day!  my day off work soon turned into a sushi and photo shoot outing with good friend, Daniela.  as we met up, she couldn't wait to go through and show me the bag full of goodies she had brought for her shoot - she was definitely prepared!  Daniela was actually one of my first ever "models" back when i used to shoot with my 35mm camera - one roll developed in colour, and one developed in black and white.  Thank God for digital cameras!  haha.  Well, after about 10 solid years from our last shoot, we were both super excited to capture some new moments of life.  (even i got a few shots of myself here and there :P).  Here are some of my favourites from the day (make sure you click on the actual photo for a more clear view).

And a few in black and white:

Dave & Cindy 10.20.12

i thought i was going to have my hands full with a 5-child family shoot but that wasn't the case at all.  sometimes the most difficult part of group shots is arranging everyone in their own special place of the photo AND having everyone looking at the camera at the same time.  this awesome family (and friends) did exceptionally well!  here are some of my favourite shots:

Ana 10.20.12

i'll admit that the more someone is excited to do a shoot, the more excited i am about it too!  there is something about that excitement that makes it fun and refreshing even for the person behind the camera (me!).  that's exactly what Ana brought along with her.  right off our first introduction, i knew she would be an enjoyable "model".  this shoot is a prefect example of the right outfits being key to a great shoot!  i am going to post my 10 favourites, but i'm not going to lie, i had a hard time narrowing them down because there really were so many shots that i was entirely happy with.  for the first time ever, i think i liked the black and white shots just as much as the colour ones.

ok ... i don't normally do this but i also wanted to post some of my favourite black and white shots:
